In 2026, Skål Club Lugano reaches an important milestone: ninety years of friendship, professional collaboration, and commitment to tourism within the global Skål community.
Founded in 1936, Skål Lugano has long been an active part of the international network that brings together tourism professionals to promote friendship, ethical business, and cooperation across the industry. Reaching ninety years of activity is a remarkable achievement that reflects the club’s enduring vitality and the strong bonds created among its members over generations.
To mark this special occasion, the club will host a Gala Dinner celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Skål Club Lugano on Saturday, 25 April 2026, at the Hotel De La Paix in Lugano.
The evening will begin at 18:30 with the arrival of guests and a welcome aperitif, followed by the official opening of the anniversary celebration at 19:30. The gala dinner will start at 20:00, offering members and guests an opportunity to celebrate together in an elegant and convivial atmosphere.
The event is being organised thanks to the dedication of Skål member Sonia Spinelli, and will welcome members of Skål Lugano, colleagues from Skål Venezia, and other friends from the wider Skål community.
In the true spirit of Skål, the celebration will also extend beyond current members. Former members of the club are warmly invited to join the event and reconnect with colleagues and friends who have shared in the history of Skål Lugano over the years.
