Alan Racic is a communications strategist and project management professional with over a decade of leadership experience across tourism, events, digital innovation, and organisational development. His career spans destination management, international market expansion, brand storytelling, and digital transformation, supported by extensive PR and stakeholder engagement expertise. As Managing Director of Conventus Adria, he has led large-scale tourism projects, delivered high-impact communication campaigns, and developed digital tools that significantly improved efficiency and global visibility.
Within Skål, Alan has played a key role in modernising digital infrastructure and strengthening communication capacity at both club and European levels. As Director of IT for Skål Europe, he led the transformation of web platforms, CRM systems, data workflows, and digital communications. His contributions include the creation of the Skål Europe IT Awards, the development of multilingual content templates, and advisory support to clubs adopting secure and collaborative digital tools. He has served as Secretary and Vice President of Skål Zagreb, receiving multiple international Certificates of Appreciation for his contributions.
As a candidate for PR & Communications Officer, Alan proposes a comprehensive two-year program aimed at elevating Skål Europe’s visibility, identity, and engagement. His strategy focuses on unified messaging, stronger media presence, and modern digital storytelling across all European clubs. Key initiatives include a Skål Europe Communication Framework, enhanced social media strategy, a quarterly digital newsletter, improved event branding, and a multimedia storytelling platform showcasing leadership, club success stories, and Young Skål contributions.
Alan’s vision is to make Skål Europe the most recognised and active regional area within Skål International by combining strategic communication, modern technology, and collaborative creativity. He aims to work closely with the Executive Board, national committees, and local clubs to ensure consistent messaging, measurable outreach, and a culture of shared visibility. Through coordinated communication, data-informed strategy, and engaging storytelling, Alan seeks to strengthen Skål Europe’s voice and amplify its impact across the global tourism community.
