In March 2026, Skål International Vienna will celebrate an extraordinary milestone: 90 years since its foundation in 1934. Over nearly a century, the club has played a vital role in bringing together tourism professionals, fostering international friendship, and contributing to the development of the industry in Austria and beyond.
This anniversary is not only a celebration of longevity but a tribute to the values that define Skål — trust, collaboration, and the belief that strong personal relationships are at the heart of a resilient tourism sector.
Two Days of Celebration and Connection
The festivities will take place 20–21 March 2026 in Vienna, welcoming Skålleagues from Austria, across Europe, and internationally.
The programme combines institutional moments with celebratory highlights. Delegates will gather for the national assembly of Skål International Austria, while Skål Europe will hold an informal meeting, creating space for dialogue and exchange on current priorities for our network.
The highlight of the celebration will be the gala evening, honouring nine decades of Skål Vienna. The evening will feature the presentation of the Skål Austria Tourism Quality Award 2026, recognition of members, a twinning ceremony with Skål International Hamburg, and a festive dinner accompanied by live music — an occasion that promises both elegance and genuine Skål camaraderie.
On the following day, participants will be invited to experience Vienna through a choice of cultural and immersive visits, offering the opportunity to continue networking while discovering the city’s rich heritage.
