The last 9 November 2021 Skal Club Prague joined the Skal Europe Area Committee.
Franz Heffeter, the new President of Skal Europe, welcomes Skal Prague, an active and very international club in the heart of Europe. “This event is one of the many adjustments that Skal Europe needs after the huge initial work done by the founding Board. Prague is one of the historical capitals of Europe and is one of the hottest destinations on our continent” says Franz Heffeter.
Heinz Reigl, the long-standing president of Skal Prague, says “he is delighted that the new Board of Skal Europe is moving to include every European member under the Area Committee, providing an international dimension to the Club activities“.
Karel Zeleny, secretary of Skal Prague, says that “being part of the Area Committee is of great help as Skal Prague will soon be starting to work on the Skal International Digital Initiative and we need support. Also, we will be able to fully participate in the international part of Skal allowing our members to profit by the full extent of networking and doing business among friends“.
Skal Prague twinned with Skal Rome during the last month of February celebrating the first hybrid ceremony of this type within Skal International.
